Wali Access

If you are a female user, your designated Wali (guardian) will have read access to all conversations between you and potential matches. This is a core feature of Sakeenaty, rooted in Islamic principles of guardianship. Walis access conversations via a secure, verified link.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only in these limited cases:

With other users: your profile is visible to users of the opposite gender who are browsing the platform.
With service providers: we use trusted third parties for email delivery, payment processing, and infrastructure (e.g., Stripe, Loops).
When required by law: we may disclose data if legally compelled by a valid court order or government request.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Convex's infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry best practices to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Access: you can view all the data we hold about you from your profile and dashboard.
Correction: you can update your profile information at any time.
Deletion: you can delete your account, which removes your profile and personal data from the platform.
